It's not -quite- time for gourds and leaves

I redressed my altar for the beginning of the harvest season.

It could also be the layers of the Earth, now that I think about it

I painted my nails to look like fire.

Cozy room

A newly rearranged living room that leads to hanging out and spontaneous naps on the couch with kitties.

Granted, the wheelchair was instrumental on the way back

Cool weather, open windows, a pair of comfy jeans, and a midnight walk.

I actually managed to successfully repair all the shirts in the "to be mended" pile.

There are no parts that go 'crunch' when I walk now

I think the new vacuum pulled an entire cat out of the carpets.

Erica Neely is awesome

Getting permission to use a favorite song in, and as inspiration for, a set of fantasy stories.

Next on the list is new desk chair

Checking another item off the "major purchases" list - a good vacuum to help control indoor allergies.

Some of those things have been waiting weeks

My to-do list is now several items lighter and considerably less daunting.

This time they really DID fix it

I stayed up until property management fixed my sink, again.

It started with my husband's clothes...

Doing a summer clean-out sweep of all the clothes & packing 2 totes - 1 to donate & 1 to store.

No obvious evidence of cancer, either

Finding out that my cat's sudden weight loss ISN'T diabetes or hyperthyroid.

Take it slow, wait until you have some strength

Having a friend remind me to take care of myself, instead of stressing over little things.

Half is far better than none

I accomplished at least half of my desired tasks before running out of steam.

7/8 - I didn't know cats COULD get a nosebleed.

Not losing my shit when my cat suddenly started bleeding. (was a nosebleed - he is fine now)

7/7 - Broken, but still good

Finding that, even broken as I am, I can still take care of others.

Digest post - 7/1 - 7/6

Finding apps that make my technology more accessible.

Reaffirming my home as a safe place for others to run.

Insisting on the orders for my MRI to be followed, as I don't want to do this again!

Happily sleeping through most of the fireworks noise. Happy 4th of July!

Getting a (metaphorical) kick in the pants about writing - and another new story idea.

Poking at old friends from my first game, to get them to join me in my next game.

Digest post 6/26 - 6/30

I stood up for myself when my doctor wanted to do a treatment that is dangerous for Ehlers-Danlos patients.

Even with a night of insomnia, I made it through a dentist appointment and washing ALL the clothes.

Hanging out in my living room with some people I used to play FFXI with.

I baked my favorite healthy, vegan cake. Yum.

Getting muse-attacked by 3 different story ideas during a bout of insomnia.

Digest post - 6/21 - 6/25

Playing the FFXIV beta for long hours and still devoting half my attention to other matters.

Having an unexpected and altogether MINDBLOWING experience.

Making it not only through a shopping trip, but cleaning & exercise.

Reconnecting with a friend over weighty discussions of faith.

Watching some awesome and inspiring female politicians as they fight to hold back a flood of oppression.
