I'll be writing phrases in the Old Tongue for days, now...

I learned to write in The Old Tongue, from The Wheel of Time books. (At the top, in fantasy script, and at the bottom in English characters, Dovie'andi se Tovya Sagain - It's time to toss the dice.)

Aging action heroes, ahoy

I spent part of the night curled up with my fiance, watching an action flick. (My favorite kind!) The Expendables II aka Aging Action Heroes fire guns, make explosions, and spout corny self-references

Making words or making songs

I discovered that I cannot currently decide which is winning in the war for my affections: writing stories or making music. (But... if Seanan McGuire can do both...)
