Backlog dump post, part 3 (1/27-1/31)

Organized my daily routine into something like a school schedule of personal classes.

I did some light exercise (Wii balance board games) for the first time since the port was placed.

I discovered that I have not, in fact, forgotten ALL the math I knew. (MATH IS HARD.)

Survived 1 grocery store worth of shopping, at least.

I got 2 1/2 weeks of GLV cards scanned, now that I can finally lift my arms again!

Backlog dump post, part 2 (1/21-1/26)

Coming through my chest port placement with only some minor joint subluxations. (My PACU nurse was awesome about helping me back into place!)

Remembering to take my post-op pain meds, more or less on time.

Backlog of Glee episodes - a visual fever dream to match my pain med-induced one.

I had my first chest port access, and I did NOT pass out, despite feeling like I was about to.

Having a night of simple, comforting foods, jasmine green tea, and brain candy movies.

I practiced playing the keyboard until my wrists (and shoulder) ached.

Backlog dump post, part 1 (1/15-1/20)

I got my fiance to read Wheel of Time to me until his voice gave out completely.

I turned 32 years of age.

Made it through Yet Another Set of New Patient Paperwork and associated intake appt with the surgeon.

I got my birthday present AND some extras for less than half the price I expected.

For the first time in a week, I was really, actually productive.

I helped a friend talk through a self-acceptance issue or two.

It's elementary

I dipped my toes into a new fandom, and may have found the first British show I like.

There are neither beginnings nor endings to the turning of the Wheel of Time

Man, what are you trying to prove?

Waking up feeling ill, then cooking/cleaning anyway... And stopping/asking for help when I couldn't do it all by myself anymore.

I should really eat something...

I, uh, successfully slept right through the new year, thanks to no fireworks and with fuzzy blankets & fuzzier kitties!
